I’m not a big fan of new year resolutions. Knowing that I am challenged in the area of following through, I’m not sure I need another way to let myself down. But, I did take the occasion of a new twelve-month cycle and looked at my personal mission statement. I thought it might be worth tweaking.

During the process of retooling I came up with twelve statements. Over the next several posts, I’m going to take a deeper look at each one. For now, here is what I want my life to be about:

…PROTECT my family at all costs

…take a CREATIVE approach to all obstacles

…LOVE GOD with all of my passion, prayers and intelligence

…LOVE PEOPLE without condition

…PURSUE MY DREAMS not only for personal fulfillment but also for the benefit of those around me
