Over the last few days I’ve had the chance to interact with a couple of my friends who are not fans of Christianity. Based on what they’ve said, though, it’s Christians they aren’t particularly find of. We can be a difficult lot.
Every moment we miss to reflect the true heart of Christ is another brick in the wall between redemption and those who watch believers with the hope that faith will be lived consistently. Jesus said that loving others – and note here that means everyone, not just those with whom we agree – is like loving God. Actually, the case could be made that we need to start the love revolution not with those that are easy to love, but with those who are hardest to love.
If you want to love God but aren’t sure where to start, just go love on some people today.
